Meet the Team at Ultima Dental Wellness

I started my dental path back on 2008 when I became a registered dental assistant. I’ve enjoyed the relationships I have built with so many clients over the past years.

More recently I have transitioned to office manager. It has been a challenge but one that I know will help me grow not just work wise but so much more on my personal growth.

People always ask what your favorite food is. My response is ”it’s one that has been made for me” I love all food. I also enjoy lots of coffee all hours of the day.

When I’m not at Ultima Dental and am enjoying my time with my daughter. We often are checking out new local ice cream shops and coffee venues.

Hi my name is Ruth and l am proud to be a part of Ultima Dental Wellness admin team. I am originally from Northern England and immigrated here in 1980. I completed the Alberta Vocational College Dental Reception Course in 1990 and have continued my career in the dental field ever since.

When l am not in the office helping our patients’ book appointments or answering their questions regarding treatment or insurance issues, l enjoy spending time with my grandchildren whom l am lucky enough to have them live close to me in Okotoks along with my son and daughter in law.

I am happy to continue my career and continuing education with all the great team members here at Ultima Dental Wellness.

I started my career in dental in 2022. I attended ABES College for their Dental Office Administration Program, where I graduated top of my class. I fell in love with the field immediately, and my favourite part is the connections and rapport I make with patients. I hope to work my way up and maybe become clinical staff in the future.

Outside of work, I tend to be spending my time playing soccer, working out, or hanging out with my friends.  In my spare time, I enjoy watching trashy reality TV or comedies such as The Office or Superstore.

My favourite food has got to do with anything potatoes, mash, twice baked or even chips. You name it, I love it. I am also an avid coffee drinker, but who isn’t?

I joined the Ultima Dental Wellness team in September 2022 and haven’t looked back. I love the patients, and the staff are like family. Truly, this is the best clinic you can go to for your dental needs. I am excited to continue my career with this office and see them continue to thrive.
