Convenient Access from Windsor Park
A straight run down Macleod Trail connects Windsor Park with Ultima Dental Wellness, and most trips take about 3 minutes by car. Our office is in Kingsland, just south of Glenmore Trail in southwest Calgary, and it works well as a dentist near Windsor Park for busy adults who want checkups, whitening or clear aligners without a long commute. Three dentists share one office, so cleanings, cosmetic work and emergencies stay under the same roof.
Starting at Windsor Park Fire Station No. 11 on 4 Street SW, head south; 4 Street SW flows straight onto Macleod Trail SW. Continue across Glenmore Trail, then turn right onto 71 Avenue SW, where the office at 506 71 Ave SW #202 sits between Macleod Trail and 4A St SW. Expect about 1.8 km, roughly 3 minutes, and free parking when you arrive. Our map listing shows the exact pin on your phone.
The fire station is easy to spot thanks to Under the Helmet, Ilan Sandler's large firefighter's-helmet sculpture completed there in October 2014. Chinook CTrain station sits just southeast of the community, about 1.0 km from our door. Meadowlark Park, south across 58 Avenue SW, and Britannia, west across the Elbow River, are the nearest communities we serve.
Why Windsor Park Commuters Book With Us
Windsor Park is one of the older communities in this part of the city. Development began in 1940, and the area joined the City of Calgary in 1951. It runs from 50 Avenue SW in the north to 58 Avenue SW in the south, with Macleod Trail on the east and the Elbow River along the west. Elboya lies to the north and Manchester to the east.
Fire Station No. 11 has served the community since it opened in October 2014, replacing the original 1957 station. Alberta Health Services paramedics are based there alongside the fire crews. A little to the west, the Windsor Park Community Centre on 6 Street SW serves as the local gathering spot.
Most homes here are apartments, largely low-rise buildings, mixed with some single-detached, semi-detached and row houses and newer infill. Most households rent, and compared with Calgary overall, a noticeably higher share of Windsor Park workers walk or take transit to their jobs. For a lot of people, a dental office that is quick to reach by car, bus or train makes the difference between keeping a checkup and pushing it back.
Our schedule is built with those workdays in mind. Thursday appointments begin at 7:00 AM, and Tuesday and Wednesday appointments run until 6:00 PM. Monday is 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so many patients can book around a shift instead of losing a full day.
Smile Care That Fits a Windsor Park Workweek
Busy professionals often ask about the look of their teeth as much as their health. Cosmetic treatment here always starts with a full evaluation of teeth, gums and bite, then a digital preview of proposed changes on screen before any work begins. The aim is a result that looks natural, works well and lasts, using the most conservative approach that will get there.
Straightening is another common request among adults who missed orthodontics as kids. Clear aligners are planned digitally from an intraoral scan and fabricated on our in-house 3D printer, so there are no putty impressions. Aligners are removed to eat and to brush, which makes them easy to manage alongside client meetings and work travel.
None of it lasts without good maintenance. Regular hygiene visits with Guided Biofilm Therapy keep staining and buildup in check, and your recall schedule is set by your own risk instead of a blanket rule. Patients who have found traditional cleanings uncomfortable in the past often notice the difference.
If you are new to the area or have not seen a dentist in a while, the $50 New Patient Exam is a simple place to start for new patients. It is a full oral health exam with treatment recommendations, so you leave knowing exactly where things stand. Nothing is pushed on you, and every finding is explained in plain language.
What a Dentist Near Windsor Park Can Do for You
Cosmetic Dentistry
Veneers, bonding and whitening are planned around your facial proportions and bite. Zoom Whitening brightens teeth in a single in-office appointment, with sensitivity managed before, during and after treatment.
Family & Preventative Dentistry
Exams cover decay, gum pockets, an oral cancer screening and your bite. Professional Cleanings & Biofilm Management visits use warm water, erythritol powder and ultrasonic technology to lift biofilm and staining.
Orthodontics
Windsor Park adults can straighten teeth with discreet clear aligners, while braces remain available for more complex movement. Each plan considers bite, jaw alignment and airway as well as appearance.
Emergency Dentistry
A broken tooth before an important meeting can't wait. The office will make every effort to see emergency patients the same day, starting with pain relief and stabilization.
Beyond these four, the practice handles crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, implants and wisdom teeth in-house, with CBCT 3D imaging used for planning. Bonding patients can leave the same day with a noticeably improved smile, and nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation is available for anyone who feels anxious.

What Our Patients Are Saying
Frequently Asked Questions
How far is Ultima Dental Wellness from Windsor Park, and how do I get there?
From Windsor Park Fire Station No. 11 it is about 1.8 km, roughly a 3-minute drive. You go south on 4 Street SW, which becomes Macleod Trail SW, cross Glenmore Trail and turn right onto 71 Avenue SW. That makes us a quick dentist near Windsor Park, and parking is free at the office.
Can I get to my appointment without a car?
Yes. Chinook CTrain station is about 1.0 km from the office, and Calgary Transit bus stops at 71 Ave SW and 4A St SW sit right by the building. Macleod Trail traffic slows at rush hour, so transit can be a practical choice for a morning or late-afternoon appointment.
How long does Zoom whitening take?
One appointment. Zoom in-office whitening applies a hydrogen peroxide gel in timed intervals, activated by a special light, and most patients see a noticeably brighter shade in a single visit. Your dentist checks your sensitivity history and enamel first and adjusts the approach, with desensitizing care available during and after treatment.
Is Invisalign an option for adults?
Yes, Invisalign is widely used by adults. The clear aligners are removable and discreet, and they are worn 20 to 22 hours a day, coming out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth. A digital scan lets you preview the planned result before you commit to treatment.
What is Guided Biofilm Therapy?
It is a professional cleaning method from EMS that uses warm water, erythritol powder and ultrasonic technology. It removes biofilm, staining and early calculus more thoroughly and comfortably than traditional cleaning methods alone. The method is designed with comfort in mind for patients who have found traditional cleanings unpleasant, and it is part of hygiene visits at our office.
