At Ultima Dental Wellness in Calgary, AB, we believe that clarity is the key to a successful relationship. In an effort to ensure your next dental appointment is as pleasant and predictable as possible, we would like to give you an overview of our office policies. Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have.
Personal Privacy Act
Due to the Canadian Personal Privacy Act, we are unable to access any specific information from your dental insurance company regarding your dental plan. It is your responsibility to know the parameters of your coverage, such as annual maximums, frequencies, renewal dates, and any other limitations. We also extend the option of direct billing, also called assignment, for your convenience. However, a valid credit card must be on file, and your insurance company must accept this service.
Appointment Policies
Please understand that it is your responsibility to keep track of your upcoming dental appointment. As a courtesy, we will contact you two weeks before a booked appointment and make confirmation calls, emails, or text messages seven days prior to and three days before any appointment. Although we will make every effort to contact you before any appointment, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you will be at your appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance with our office.
Cancellation & Office Policies
Due to a continuous high demand during prime appointment times, we require a minimum of two business days’ notice per appointment should you need to reschedule or cancel. Because we value your time, we do not double-book our clients. As such, your appointment is valuable time that the doctor has reserved specifically for you. Where insufficient notice is given for a canceled or missed appointment, a missed appointment fee may be charged to you, or we may require you to prepay to reserve your next appointment.
At Ultima Dental Wellness, our goal is for you to have a pleasant experience in our office. We strive to serve you to the best of our ability and help you attain a high level of dental care and overall well-being. These policies exist not to create barriers but to protect the time and experience of every patient we serve, including yours.
If you have any questions about any of our dental health and safety policies or office procedures, please do not hesitate to call our Calgary, AB office. We are always happy to help.
